Group Rate Information
On behalf of our meeting attendees, a special discounted rate has been secured over the dates of the meeting of $310.00 single or double occupancy, plus tax, currently at 13.416%. This is a great rate for a world-class resort.  The customary rate (published for January 2010) exceeds $400 per night. 
In addition to the discounted group rate, there will be a daily Resort Charge of $25.00 (taxable) per room, per night which includes: A flower Lei greeting upon arrival, a welcome Mai Tai punch (non-alcoholic); Unlimited local, toll-free and credit card calls; Coffee or tea in guest rooms; Nightly turndown service; Unlimited use of Spa Grande's Fitness Center, Participation in sunrise power walks and yoga classes; Admission to twice-daily scuba clinics and water aerobics; Participation in scheduled art and garden tours; Use of self parking facilities; Shuttle service to scheduled stops throughout the Wailea area; In-room high speed internet access; Use of the water features to include water slides, water elevator, whirlpools and rope swing.

The following Porterage and housekeeping gratuity will be added to the guest room rate:
Porterage - Baggage Handling: $10.00 per person, roundtrip

Reservation Procedures
You can make your reservations by contacting the Grand Wailea Resort at: 1-800-888-6100. Be sure to mention you are attending the D. Eugene Strandness Vascular Symposium to get the group's discounted rate.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m; Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Should the Resort allow for late check-out, it may impose a half day rate. To guarantee your reservation, the hotel requires a deposit equal to the room rate and tax for the first and last night of your reservation. The deposit is refundable if cancellation is received at least 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival. The group rate will be honored 3 days before and 3 days after the official meeting dates based on space and rate availability.

Cut-off Date - Reservations must be made before the cut-off date of December 15, 2010. After this date, or if our block of rooms sells out early, availability and rate cannot be guaranteed. We strongly suggest you book your room early.
